Neil-Willenson-Reunite

Our Origin

Years ago, Co-Founder Neil Willenson had a foster son with an incarcerated mom and saw firsthand how rare and challenging prison visits were for all involved – especially for those who live far from the prison facility. Camp Reunite was born through a partnership between Hometown Heroes, Inc., the Turning Rivers youth camping facility, and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Based on the proven success of our first sessions, Camp Reunite envisions replicating this program at camps and prison facilities across the U.S.
